Acacia Training and Development Ltd achieved the Excellence Status by Skills for Care again in 2016.
The announcement comes after a comprehensive review of Acacia Training and Development’s training provision followed by a visit in October, where members from the NSA attended the ATD offices to meet with staff to get an understanding of what training and support learners receive.
The ‘Excellence’ endorsement from the NSA is awarded to training providers who are able to demonstrate exemplary commitment to meeting the needs of learners in adult social care, are compliant with the social model of care and understanding and measuring the impact of their provision on the lives of the people who use care services.
Acacia Training and Development is the only work based independent training provider in the South West to obtain this prestigious award.
Every year we also nominate our learners, trainers and employers for local and national awards to recognise their support and commitment in the apprenticeship scheme.
