Choose the centre and the courses. If you are a job seeker the training will be funded. Ask your advisor at the job centre.

Adult Social Care – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – One Week training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – City&Guilds Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in the Adult Social Care Sector.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

Advanced into Employment – Class Provision

Duration – 4 days 9.30am – 4pm at the Plymouth centre.
Qualification – You will receive a NOCN Level 1 Award in Employability.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over who are claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or ESA in the work-related activity group.

Childcare – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – 1 week training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will receive a NOCN certificate made up for 3 units.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

Confidence Building – Class Provision (Plymouth/Taunton)

Duration – 1 day training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a QCF Level 1 Certificate in Confidence building.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

Customer Service Skills – Class Provision (Plymouth/Taunton)

Duration – 1 day training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a QCF Level 1 QCF Certificate in Customer Service Skills.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

CV Writing – Class Provision (Plymouth/Taunton)

Duration – 1 day training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a QCF level 1 Certificate in CV Writing.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 – Short Course (Plymouth/Taunton/Exeter)

Duration – 1 day each – 09.30am-4.30pm.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over on 31 August 2014 and who is in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or ESA in the work-related activity group.

Prices range from £50.00 – £75.00 + VAT across our centres (this includes course book & certification fee).

Food Safety Level 2 in Catering – Short Course (Plymouth/Taunton)

Duration – 1 day training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a City & Guilds Level 2 Food Safety in Catering Award.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

Range £50-70 plus VAT.

Functional Skills Funded Courses

Duration – This course can take 3-6 months and you will have a tutor helping you to pass your final City & Guilds test.
Qualification – City and Guilds qualifications.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over with no GCSE Maths or English grades A – C.

Future Directions – Class Provision (Plymouth/Taunton)

Duration – This course will run over a 10-day-period with a mix of classes and 1-to-1 sessions.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over who are claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or ESA in the work-related activity group.

Health & Safety in the Workplace Level 1 – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – One Day Course 9.30am – 4.30pm. Courses run throughout Devon & Cornwall.
Qualification – You will gain a NCFE level 1 Award in Health & Safety Awareness.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over and in receipt of JSA,ESA or Universal Credit.

Hospitality – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – 1 day training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a QCF Certificate in Hospitality Industry.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over and who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

Interview techniques – Class Provision (Plymouth/Taunton)

Duration – 1 day training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a QCF Level 2 Certificate in Interview skills and Level 2 Certificate in preparing for a Recruitment Interview.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over who is in receipt of JSA, ESA or Universal Credit.

New Claims – Job seeking course (Taunton)

Duration – 4 days training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a range of QCF Certificates.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19 or over on 31 August 2014 and who is in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or ESA in the work-related activity group.

Plymouth Work Club

Duration – 2 hours each Tuesday morning (9.00am – 12.00pm)
Cost – Free of charge to anyone aged 19+ and in receipt of JSA, ESA or universal credit

Positive Pathway to Empowerment (Plymouth / Taunton)

Duration: 2-week course
Qualification: 3 Ascentis Certificates
Cost: Free of charge (subject to eligibility)

Preparing for Employment (New Claims) – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – 5 days 9.30am – 4pm
Qualification – NOCN award in Skills & Personal Development.
Cost – Free of charge to anyone 19 and over who are claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or ESA in the work-related activity group.

Retail Course – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – 1 week training at various locations throughout the region.
Qualification – You will achieve a range of QCF Certificates.

Working as a Cleaning Operative – Class Provision (Plymouth)

Duration – 1 week training at various locations throughout the region.
