I would like to say a big thank you to my Assessor Lynn Cawse for her guidance and patience whilst completing my NVQ. Her support was invaluable, and made things easy for me to understand.

The Dove Project

We have been working with Acacia Training for almost 5 years now. During that time they have supported a number of our support staff and Team Leaders to achieve their NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social care. We have found that having a named person to speak to has been really helpful. Staff report that they are supported on an individual basis though do feel group meetings help. Myself and the Coordinators receive monthly feedback which helps us track how are staff are doing.

Emma M.,

Level 2 Business Administration, Toys4Cars, Plymouth

I didn’t like the thought of going to college 3-5 days a week to gain a qualification with no actual experience – with an Apprenticeship I got the best of both worlds and I earned wage. It has helped me in many ways, I am a lot happier talking to people now. I have gained some great skills that will stay with me forever.

Dylan B.,

The employees have gained a greater knowledge of understanding at different levels and a increased confidence within their roles.
