Funding
Acacia Training & Development Ltd has funding to deliver training across the Southwest region. This year our funding contracts are bigger than ever meaning that even more employed people can be offered Work Based Training and Apprenticeship programmes either fully or partly supported by government funding.
Our Apprenticeship programmes are completely free of charge to learners under 19 years of age. Our Work Based Learning funding offers free training to cover the first full level 2 qualification (subject to eligibility).
From August 2011, we will also be extending our government funded provision to include working with eligible unemployed people across the region.
We offer free Information, Advice and Guidance sessions to all prospective learners. We can help you to find the training that suits your needs either with Acacia Training and Development Ltd or with other local Training Providers. Acacia Training and Development works closely with the Skills Brokerage service and the National Apprenticeship Service to ensure that you are effectively guided into the right training programmes to suit you and your employer.
There are eligibility rules for all types of funding and these can change from time to time, so if you want to know if you can access funding for your qualification, contact your nearest Acacia Training and Development centre for more information.
Many full level 2 qualifications are available fully supported by the government, others are partially supported. This will depend on existing qualifications, age, employment status and the size of the organisation that employs you. We can guide you through the eligibility checks with no fuss at all.
