The Job Centre Plus Treasure Hunt in Taunton – our team was there and had a great day

On the 21st June 2016, the Job Centre Plus in Taunton organised a treasure hunt around town with 5 job centre teams and partner organisations such as us, Acacia Training and Development.

Acacia’s staff,Michaela Brotherton, Gill Buff and Terry Sanford  joined Prospects to make up 2 teams: The Mad Hatters and the All Blacks. They all had a fantastic day. They had to find clues along the way. Working together on a strategy was key as well as having fun of course.

Adam Tidmarsh, Employer Advisor from the Taunton Job Centre said: “We were trying to make the hunt as much about strategy, planning and working together as possible. We wanted to encourage networking and productive relationships. All team members were equally valuable. People could also use skills they haven’t had the chance to demonstrate yet.”

Our team had a lot of fun. In the end, the internal JCP CSA team, the Inbetweeners, won the treasure hunt. Congratulations and we will hopefully do this again soon.
