Move into a career that sits at the heart of every business worldwide.

Welcome to the Acacia Accounting and bookkeeping pages. You may be thinking “How do I decide between a career in bookkeeping or accounting?” First of all, let us help you choose the right qualification for you.

What is an Accountant?

An accountant holds a key position within business and finance industries, including large organisations or small business.  The primary role of an accountant is to observe and record the financial situation, to prepare and examine financial records. You will be responsible for making sure that all the transactions within a business are legal and above board.  You ensure profits are being made; books are balanced and look at efficiency and reduction in costs.  The Accountant may also work for private individuals, helping them to make financial decisions and complete tax returns.

What is a bookkeeper?

A bookkeeper keeps a record of day to day financial records for businesses and organisations and is part of the Accounting process. Once you’re qualified you can work in any number of companies, making sure that you keep accurate financial records. You can even become self-employed and work with a number of businesses at once.

We provide AAT Officially Accredited qualifications. AAT – The Association of Accounting Technicians are the worlds leading professional body for Accounting Technicians and their qualifications are recognised by all UK chartered and certified accountancy bodies.

Let us introduce Nadia Zackria, your tutor/assessor for AAT Accounting & Bookkeeping course.
