We Cover the whole of the South West
We cover the South West of England with centres in Plymouth, Exeter and Taunton and teams based in Wiltshire and Cornwall. We also have an office based in Roche, in Cornwall. Our assessors are also able to deliver courses in other parts of the South West.

The Apprenticemakers website contains a wealth of information designed to answer questions small businesses may have when considering recruiting an apprentice. A Small Business Guide is available, which provides a simple overview of how to recruit an apprentice and the apprenticeship journey.
We need your help with Sector Work Academies
We need Employers to engage with our New Care Sector Work Academies, to enable customers to develop their skills and have the opportunity to work in a real environment. Acacia Training and Development, in partnership with demand from Job Centre Plus, runs Academies on a regular basis.
A work academy can last up to six weeks and has three key components:
- Pre employment training – this will be carried out at an accessible location where job seekers will gain knowledge to achieve the Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.
- A work experience placement
- A job interview
Your business could benefit from being part of the Care Academy, it is a flexible programme that could be tailored to meet your recruitment needs, the customers will have the right training and skills developed through your guidance and training. It could even allow existing staff to develop their mentoring, supervisory and coaching skills.
