Apprenticeships are a great way to achieve your career goals and enable you to start earning at a young age. In some sectors, young Apprentices will progress quickly into well-paid jobs.
Many of the most highly qualified people you will meet in your life will tell you that some of their best and most lasting learning was gained at work and in real life practice. Just to give you a sense of just how popular they are, there were over half a million apprenticeship starts in England last year.
Through an Apprenticeship you can earn, learn, gain a qualification and find out if your chosen occupation is really for you and easily change direction if you need to. There are so many Apprenticeships to choose from covering 170 industries and 1500 different job roles.
At Acacia Training and Development (ATD), we have many years’ experiences of delivering high-quality Apprenticeships.
At our Ofsted Inspection in June 2014, where we were graded as ‘Good’, we heard that employers and learners throughout the South West had told the inspectors how much they valued our work based learning.
They said it built self-esteem, occupational competence and led to promotion, progression and business success.
We are local
We cover the South West of England and have centres in Plymouth, Taunton, Newton Abbot, on the Isle of Wight and now also in Cornwall.
