Somerset Care is an award-winning, not-for-profit company with 25 years’ experience of supporting people to live independently.

Somerset Care provides residential and nursing care for older people in care homes, and manage a respite centre for adults with physical disabilities.

Somerset Care also provides community support to people living in their own homes in Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset and Hampshire. Under the ‘Realise’ brand, they also provide support to adults with learning disabilities.

A part of the Somerset Care Group, Acacia Training and Development offers a comprehensive service for businesses and individual employees, and is recognised as one of the largest non-college based training organisations in the South West.

Acacia Training and Development Ltd only enters into subcontract agreements for the provision of Services that support the delivery of apprenticeships in partnership with ourselves. We do not currently hold any “Provision Subcontracts” and all of our current partnerships exist under subcontract currently requiring our qualified staff to perform roles within the initial assessment, IAG, MIS and/or qualification delivery process.
